113 heads for $350?
113 heads for $350?
He says:
I have been able to look at the pics yet, but I will post them up when I do.
Should I ****** these? I honestly not sure where I am going with this current engine build but I have seen these go for upwards of $500.
I have a set of Aluminum heads off a 90 vette. #113 castings. Just took some pics real quick. I just noticed when I pulled them out of my car that the #7 piston tapped the head as you can see in one pic. It's still fine, I would bolt these on another motor as they sit.

Re: 113 heads for $350?
That's about the going price for a pair of just yerbasic used ones.
$500 would be too much for just used untouched stock cores; but maybe not too bad for a set that already had some of the work they need done to them, like better springs, better valves, port work, etc.
As far as "should you ****** them", that depends on your goals and all that. They're easy to beat with aftermarket heads.

Yeah, they might be sold already. I also checked out some comparable Alum heads, most go for $500ish range. So unless they don't sell and he comes down on the price, I doubt I will get them.
