Bang...then stall?

I was adjusting the fuel pressure and I got it to where it should be, but it would studder at full throttle from idle, so I richened it up. So the first time, I was going down the street and I was full throttle, and I get a bang and the RPM's are shaking up and down and it studders. So I tweak the fuel pressure again and next, I go down the street and WOT is good but as I am turning around, it goes BANG, and knock knock knock. It doesnt start for 2 minutes straight, but I get it to start and limp it half a mile home. Anyone have any Idea's?

Re: Bang...then stall?

Is there a chance you might've overheated the engine and the ECM killed the fuel?
When I overheated mine the car just died and it sounded like piston slap, it wouldn't start until it cooled off. Scared the s#!t out of me, I thought I blew the engine.

Nope. Pretty sure it didn't over heat. It stayed at 160 the whole time.

Re: Bang...then stall?

Do you have any error codes, is the ECM still in limp mode?
Drive it again (or try to) and post what is going on.

Will do, I am going to turn the FP down and drive it around the block again.
