Re: easy and free mods

Glasspacks will cost you power compared to the stock muffler, besides making your car sound like it just stepped out of "Deliverance". Don't bother quoting the ad copy.

The "emissions junk" isn't costiong you any power; I'd leave it alone. Oh wait... all of mine is still intact on my L69. Hmmmmmm......

You've already got a car with most all of the "free" mods from the factory. Most of what you need to do, will cost money. Headers, a cam, and head work, are next on your schedule.

As far as "free", if you haven't changed your oil, trans, and rear end fluids lately, synthetic will help there; make sure your tire air pressure is where it should be; simple stuff like that.

Re: easy and free mods

There is so much readily great material on this board that you are missing by not using the search function and just looking at the 'FAQ' and TECH permanent posts! Take an hour to peruse some of the tried and true info posts, get yourself one of the easy to read 'high performance camaro' books as a guidline and you'll have more info than you'll know what to do with. Seriously!
I know you were hoping to get easy info, but few of us want to respond to generic info posts when we've taken the time to give detailed information and posted it in easy access formats. Nitro
