My car won't run right...

I have a 1988 T/A 5.0 TPI. I had to take it off the road cause it did not stay running. Firstly, It takes 10-15 seconds of cranking to start the vehicle. It has been like that since i have owned it. But now my problem is everytime i take a turn the engine will cut out, sometimes even going straight. It does not bog down. It does not even feel like it is stalling. It will just cut out. Before i took the car off the road i tested the car by taking the turns differently but to no prevail it is not my driving. I have already replaced the TPS but i needed to replace it anyway. I was told that it could possibly be the inertia switch but i am not positive. Any response is a good response thank you for reading please e mail me your suggestions @ Gtatpi112305@yahoo.com

Check fuel pressure. You could very well have no pressure at initial ignition turn-on, which could be a relay problem or a pump problem.

The cutting out thing could also be fuel pressure related. Or, could be a whole host of other possibilities.
