Air Conditioning Smells Like Gas

Transmission: 700r4(A4)
Axle/Gears: G80 RPO, 3:23s, Auburn Racer's Diff
Air Conditioning Smells Like Gas
Once in a while when I'm running my A/C, I smell what I think is gasoline. This is odd, since the car doesn't appear to leak any fluids. How can I fix this?

i do not mean to hi-jack your thread but i to have a chemical type smell from my a/c as well . i aslo would like to get rid of it . can anyone help us both out ?

I smell it too in my TPI camaro, its almost like an exhaust smell in my car.

well i studied the system , realized the a/c draws in outside air from wiper area . since i had removed the rear hood seal i was pulling in hot eng. air/fumes . glad i had not thrown the seal away as many have done . re-installed seal , problem is gone . worked for me , hope it works you all .
