Two Questions

First, I do not have the stock timing cover with the tabs and I need to time my car better than by ear. What can I do? (I do have a timing gun)

Secondly, my oil pan is bent in a little bit from previous owner. Oil does shoot up under my valve covers and my gauge usually reads a little less than 30psi, but very rarely does it get over thirty. Isn't it supposed to get to 60 when driving?

Re: Two Questions

Put a bolt-on timing pointer on, use a piston stop to find TDC and remark your balancer.

GM says that 10 PSI per 1000 RPM is adequate oil pressure.
