what part number for accel header spark plugs

Not sure which plug is the right one for my motor, specs in sig, its a 300 hp 355 with 10.5:1 compression

check out page 159 in the new accel catalogue
http://www.accel-ignition.com/pdf/74283G.pdf

i cant figure out if the part number for the accel shorty plugs i need is 8198 or 8199 its not overly specific.

possibly theres even something slightly hotter or colder that i could use? i assume thats the difference.....

Re: what part number for accel header spark plugs

19doug90,

I am running the ac delco plug fr3ls. Its a shorty plug that runs cooler for aluminum headed engines. They are cheap and have not let me down in the 9 years I have been using them. I have tried others of course but always come back to them. Just gap them and enjoy.

Go to O'Riellys or Autozone, or whatever your favorite parts store is and ask them I'm sure they'll be able to tell you. That's how I found out what plugs I needed to use. If they don't know what ones fit your heads the call the manufacturer of your heads or if you have stock heads run the casting number to find out what year any everything.

Good Luck
