Need quick help
I'm currently dropping the engine in my camaro. When I pulled the old engine out a large 2.75" wide x .75" thick washer that tapers fell out from behind the engine. The old engine was a 305 w/ 1 piece rear main. The trans is a 700R4. Does anyone know what this washer/spacer was for and would I need it for a 2 piece rear main flywheel and the 700R4?

Cant think of anything that a washer that size can be used for in your engine bay. Maybe someone droped it and it got stuck somewhere and it workded free when you was pulling the motor.

I figured out that it was an exhaust donut. I guess what threw me off is that it dropped right underneath the bellhousing and it was covered in oil and grim.
