350 on a budget

wanting to build a 350. This will be a whole winter project so i'm not in a hurry.Just want to get it right. I've searched for days and found lots of different combos that you guys are running.Now lets say you had to build one for the street in a nice daily driver. Making lets say 350hp maybe a little more
give me your most bang for your buck combo, what parts would you use

It would depend on what parts you already have, and what condition the block is in.

let's say i have just a 350block no heads no nothing
just a good solid block , no cracks , the block will be going to the shop to get a refresh

For such a modest power level, you don't need a whole lot. Cast crank (stock), stock rods, hypereutectic pistons, a decent stock cast iron head (Vortecs maybe), slightly warm cam (XE268 or similar).

Check out some of the cheap engine kits that are offered by various vendors.
