1985 Belinetta help
I recently bought a 85 camaro belinetta. The guy told me that they swapped the old v6 with a 350 v8. At first the car was fine for the first couple of days then i filled up gas tank parked it in my garage. the next day i started it and it kinda hesitated then finally started. The next day i tried to to start it and the engine started for a breif second then died. Same thing happened again next try. then the third time i killed the starter trying. Can anyone help? All i know about the car is that they swapped the engine, the took out the fuel injector and put in a carb but never diconnected the fuel pump so when i turn the key i can her the pump but i dont know if it is pumping gas or not. i know they didnt swap radiators so the car over heats when ran hard or long. and im not sure if the starter was swapped with the v8. could the original v6 starter be used with a 350? please help i would apperciate any help

Well, the old v6 fuel pump is a high pressure unit. They would need to use a regulator to get it low pressure enough to use with carb. You need to measure the fuel pressure at the carb. it should be like 3-4 psi.
You also need to swap radiators and make sure the fan turns on!.
