Passenger Side Sensor

Wondering what the sensor is called on the passenger side of the 5.0 small blocks and what it does ? thanks alot

where at? between 1 and 3? its the water temp sensor

If it's in the block above the oil pan rail it's the knock sensor.

thats on the drivers side. On the passenger side between cylinder 6 and 8, its the fan switch .

yeah, thats the one - fan switch center between 6 and 8 - thanks alot guys
