I have a 91 camaro 305 tbi 5 speed car, it will run fine most of the time but I was driving it the other day and it started to cut out real bad and the check engine light and the security light flashed it backfired and died. It started back and I drove it home but it was still cutting out. The tach also says that it is idling at 3,000 rpms but its not. I pulled the codes and got code 43. i have replaced the coil, wires, cap, rotor, tps, esc,and knock sensor. Anybody have ant ideas?

 

Well being a man of newly forming knowledge with these cars I can atleast tell you that a code 43 is the electronic spark control. I'm almost positive that it is located on the firewall right next to the brake master cylinder. For starters check the connection to insure that it's not just loose or corroded. That's about all the help I can be, i'm sure someone else can help you the rest of the way.
