Oil Cooler on New 880 Block
Just got my new Block back from rebuild. I was putting components on and decided to put the oil pump on. Since the block was upside down, I decided to put the OEM oil cooler on the block. Big problem. On the existing block the oil cooler just screwed into the block. On the new block, there is no threads to screw in anything let alone an oil filter. I mean you can see where everthing is supposed to go, but no way for any mating parts to go togethor.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Oil Cooler on New 880 Block
Yeah, I was already thinking that I screwed up. The old block was sold almost 1 month ago. I did forget to take a couple of items off.. The rear main seal housing, but I had access to another. Then then oil filter housing problem. I have one more problem that I am curious about. I bought a new set of AFR 210 75cc heads. These are running dual valve springs. The original rocker studs are alot thicker than what I have. Can I safely use my ARP 7/16 studs with Roller Rockers? I might have to ultimately have to get a larger set of roller rockers.
