Stock fuel pump wiring sufficient for A1000?
Pretty much just said it, but I do have a summit fuel pump relay kit. Just dont feel like installing it. I'd rather use it for something else. The wires with the kit are a little bigger. Can I use the stock wires that run with the tank sender? It would really speed up the process of getting this blower on by monday......

it depends. You need to find out the expected amperage draw of the pump. This should be provided somewhere. A stock style fuel pump pumping at 4o-50 psi should be from 5(low) to 8(high). If this puimp is going to draw more than that, you should consider upgrading the wiring.

I cant find anything, but it advertises flow at 12.5 volts. Whats the worst that could happen? Blowing a fuse?
Re: Stock fuel pump wiring sufficient for A1000?
Electrical theory would say that you would blow a fuse. In practical reality, its possible that the amp draw would come right up to the point of the fuse capability and then overheat the wiring. From there its all up in smoke. Not exactly likely but entirely possible. Another thing to consider is, do you want to do this twice?

no reason not to install it properly and run proper guage wires and a relay.
