building 383 for '89 IROC can't decide on injector size or which cam to run.I've got a set of 26lb accel injectors but don't know if they are big enough motor will be for street with weekend drag duty. Also have ZZ9 cam but don't know if it's the right one. Wanting to build monster torque motor down low in the RPM's.Any suggestions are welcome

I would go with 30 pound injectors and a ZZ409 camshaft from TPIS.com works very well for me.
im gona be running 30lb ford SVO injectors, and a comp cams XFI 280 specs are 230/236 duration at .050 and .567/.570 lift with 1.6rr and 113 lobe with and HSR and patriot 195cc heads im looking at close to 480-500 crank HP.
not sure about the ZZ409 cam i kno its more radical than the ZZ9.
30lb injectors are good for 550hp before u start pumpin up the fuel pressure

26lbs injectors will work fine for your intended use. The ZZ9 cam is on the small side, but it will idle like stock and should have enough torque like you're looking for. The bigger issue will be what intake you are going to run. A stock TPI will choke it and you wont be as happy.

hi
im running AFR 195 cc elim heads, XFI 476 cam, and a single plane EFI on my 396...
lots of torque down low, and likes to rev, too....and i run 30# injectors, they are about 80% dutycycle under WOT
