383 Kit.

i found a 383 engine kit.
i emailed them about what type of products they use and havnt got an email back from them yet.
but what do you guys think??
i dont think its that bad but im kinda skechy about it.
do you know any good 383 kits thats all forged?

im planning on making it a mostly a drag car.

can you guys help me!!
its my 1st 383 build.
got the block all ready to go to the shop. im just shopping now for parts.
oh! another question.
is it better to buy a 383 kit orrrrrr buy each part seprate and go from there?

i got a reply from the website and they said the parts are POWERHOUSE brand and the pistions are Forged Probe
i never heard of POWERHOUSE before.

Chevy High Performance just did a big 3 or 4 issue article on a budget 383 build using a Powerhouse Kit. I think its a sister company of COMP cams.
