Re: TPI TO CARBURETOR

Im not done with mine yet, but I removed the entire TPI harness and I still have all of my starter, alternator and distributor power wires. The only thing I havent looked into yet is the fuel pump wiring. The relay was plugged into the tpi harness but there were 2 wires from the chassis harness that pluged in with the relays, Im assuming these could be for the fuel pump but I havent really checked them or looked into it yet.
Hope that might help some.

Seth

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

There's a tech article linked from the the thirdgen.org homepage about converting from EFI to carb. IIRC it's a little sparse on the fuel system regulation and power, but easily searchable on the tech and carb forums.

Re: TPI TO CARBURETOR

Its very simple to convert TPI to carb.

Step 1) Sell your TPI car to someone who likes fuel injection and is willing to take the time to learn about it and make it better.

Step 2) Buy carb car with the money and enjoy your old technology.
