For a continuation of the vacuum hosing for the A/C - Heat system look at the diagrams in these two threads in the COOLING board

Vader Nice diagram, but it is missing one of the vacuum lines for the cruise control. There is a second line from the cruise servo to the vacuum switch on the brake and clutch (if you have a manual tranny) pedals. It releases the cruise control when the brake or clutch is depressed.
Quickbrad the Hayes manual has the cruise vacuum diagram on page 10-32. Have you looked in the Hayes and Cliton(sp?) manuals at your local public library???? Or you might consider buying one.

Re: NEED VACCUM ROUTING
I know this is an old thread, but has the image and this concerns the OP's issue, kinda. I have a 1988 I-ROCK, and it's been running good. I went to adjust my TV cable when I notice that I don't have a vacuum reservoir, but I still have the vacuum hose connected to nothing. So I plug the hose, but before I drove it I logged on here to see what damage I might cause by plugging a random hose.
what problems should arise from a missing vacuum reservoir? and what did I fix by plugging it? and last, do I really need the reservoir?

You sure you don't have the reservoir? Might be a sphere, about the size of a softball, under either the battery or the charcoal canister, I forget which side in your car but I think it's the driver's, visible from the bottom.
If you don't have the reservoir, but everything else is perfect, then your vacuum doors under your dash that route the air, will rest to their "rest" position every time you give the car enough gas to make the vacuum go mostly away, and then go back to normal when you take your foot back off the gas. Very annoying although not too harmful.

Re: NEED VACCUM ROUTING
No. There isn't anything there, or left. there is a broken piece left inside my vacuum hose. i still haven't driven it yet to find out what's up. but even with that piece broken/missing my cruise control still works, kinda. when i set it while the speedo is at 70 it drops to about 65. and when i hit resume, it take a couple seconds before it resumes the speed. if it is vacuum operated, interested to know how it still worked
