vacum helpl!

anybody have pics of the L98 with all stock vacume lines installed? I have an 89 that I just finished a intake gasket, and I cannot remember where everything went. I tore it down about a year ago, and finally busted some *** and finished it.It starts after a bit, but runs poorly, and has bad responce.I took it down the road, and it has no power. Then I gassed it and blew oil out of the dipstick. a friend said I have all the vacume lines hooked up wrong and probably built too much head pressure. I'm really not sure.

I got a printout of the vacum layout on mitchel on demand. So I think i'll get it straightened out tomorro. problem is, half of the stock stuff was never on the engine to begin with. any help would be appreciated. I just hate to leave a dope car like this sitting.

Re: vacum helpl!

hopefully you still have a sticker under the hood showing the original vacuum diagram. If you have a Chilton book it has some helpful info. Look in this post for links to diagrams: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...-diagrams.html

Happy New Year and hope your cars running right soon
