TBI to carb swap questions
Alright so I have already done the swap, but I had to call it a night early due to the weather. All I have left to do is hook up the distributor, but I'm an import guy and this is my first domestic car with a v8 in it.
I bought an Accel distributor with vaccuum advance and a coil on top of the cap. I see the wires from my old coil are the ones I need to hook to the new distributor but do I hook them to the coil wires that press into the cap? or do I hook them to the harness that comes out of the distributor body?
Also, which fuel line is my fuel feed line? The one on top that had all the fuel come out when i d/c it? do I discard my return line now?
Thanks!

Re: TBI to carb swap questions
if you bought the right dizzy its really simple to make it run......hook up the wires from the distributor body to the cap
find a hot wire off the switch(hot with the switch is in the on position, not when its off)...put that one the on the hole that DOESNT say tach.....then put your tach wire one the hole that says tach....are you following me?
as far as your return line goes.....if you are runnning a manual fuel pump you must have it otherwise it will spit gas all over the ground.....the spot for the fuel pump to carb should be 3/8" and i would recommend using a inline filter

The pink wire from your original coil goes to the "BATT" terminal on the distributor cap. The white wire is the tach wire, and goes to the "TACH" terminal on the distributor cap. The harness coming out of the distributor body connects to the distributor cap on the in-most set of terminals.
You need a return-style regulator, using the stock return line. The larger line is the feed line.
