Gas tank question for an 86 camaro
Gas tank question for an 86 camaro
Back when I was cleaning out the gas tank from rust and replacing the fuel pump and sending unit I noticed a plastic object that had a rubber line running to it from the gas tank and it was mounted just inside the left rear tire well. It looked like a vent or something but wasnt sure and there is hardly anything left of it other than the plastic that goes into the hose line.
Does anybody know what that is and if there is a replacement part number to get one to replace it if its needed ?
Thanks

It's a pressure relief valve. You should be able to find the p/n by searching.
