which is better?

so im building a 350 that will get some mods added to it later down the road, and i was just wondering which is better, timing gears or timing chain?

lol ok chain it is, but ive been told that gears break less often and then can withstand more power and they dont lose there timing then the chain, any truth behind that?

The gears often times have more backlash in them than the chain. Also the gears soak up HP and transmit harmonics back and forth between the cam and crank. A good double roller chain won't stretch or break.
