oil pumping from top of dipstick

Ok, I did a lot of work on the car recently do to a blown head gasket. I replaced the head gasket and while I had the car apart I decided to do a heads/cam swap. So I did a compression test a few time b4 and found the blown head gasket, then after installing the heads and cam. All 8 were about 150psi. I'm thinking I am having crack case pressure building. So my rings appear to be fine and I checked my PVC system and its all hooked up and a new PVC. I did install a new set of valve covers, drivers side had the hole in it for the PVC but the drivers side didnt have the hole for the breather , just a hole for oil fill. I ended up just capping the Throttle body fitting that mated to the breather on passenger side. Do you guys think this is causing my added crank case pressure?? I plan on replacing my oil cap on passenger side with a breather cap. Do you think this will fix my issue? thanks

Re: oil pumping from top of dipstick

how do you know you have added crankcase pressure? did you hook a vacuum/pressure gauge to the valve cover and measure pressure in the crankcase. From your setup it sounds as though you are pulling a vacuum on the crankcase. PCV hooked to one side, nothing open on other. You should be fine, in fact there is less than pressure, or negative pressure existing inside. As far as the oil coming out of the dipstick, perhaps the dipstick isnt sealing properly, or you could in fact have tremedous amounts of blowby. I just dont see that happening with 150psi compression tests.
