dual fan setup ?

i picked up a dual fan setup for my firebird and i have a MAF sensor for my tpi that is on a bracket which is suppossed to fit over it. my bracket doesnt fit over it but hits the pieces holding the right side fan on. so should i cut the plastic to make it lay flat? or will that make it too weak?

Re: dual fan setup ?

I would try trimming it down some. Just don't cut the whole thing off, it's there for a reason.

Re: dual fan setup ?

TPI MAF sensors are delicate. They don't like banging against stuff over and over again. Either attach it firmly to something or give enough clearance it hangs out in mid air all by itself, but don't let it rattle against a nearby part.
