Hello all,

My ac compressor bearings are starting to get noisy and she isn't running nearly as efficiently as i would like. apart from a rebuild or factory replacement, is there an upgrade available? a retrofit from a newer vehicle (less drag, lighter, more efficient, etc) or an aftermarket?

and for those of you that are going to say "just remove it" i need to keep it in place for when my dad rides with me... he is deathly allergic to bees and we cannot have the windows down driving it during the summer.

are those any lighter or better than a reman factory unit? there's no info there about weight, etc

 

i have a 6 month old one i just took off my car if you want it. it blew really cold and had no bearing problems if you want new lines and everything i have that too. pm me if curious.
