E-85 Questions?

E-85 Questions?
I have been searching for some time now and haven't found what I have been looking for...
I am looking for the performance side of things here and some gas mileage increase...
Got a Mild 350 with mild 500 lift cam, ported iron AFR heads, 770 carb, 9.5to1 CR, with headers and a bunch of other bolts on's and misc... Runs 12.3 in the quarter.
If running a Holley carb does there need to be any changes besides jetting and a colder plug to run E-85?
Can you mix your own gas say 50% 93 octance gas and 50% E-85?
If you can do this is there any advantages/disvantages in doing this.
Last question when it really comes down to it what is the advantage of using E-85, More power? Cheaper to run your car? or just the point of not buying gas from overseas??
