Fuel injector question
I bought some new fuel injectors on ebay because I can't afford new ones.
And I went to go put them in and I think they might be too short. IS there anyway to tell I don't want to put them in then put the whole thing back together and then have to teaar it all apart again. Also the clips in the end that goes into the fuel rail are those like spacers or do they hold the injectors in place? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...200272211&rd=1 These are the injectors.

Re: Fuel injector question
Don't use the clips. There aren't grooves on that style of injector for them, and they're really only for holding the injectors in the rail at the factory before they're assembled to the intake, anyway. They don't do anything once the whole thing is put together.
The Bosch injectors are slightly shorter than Multecs, although the 2 styles of Bosch ones are the same length as you can see in the pic.
Use new O-rings; put some silicone dielectric grease on the O-rings to lube them; and pay attention to get them somewhat vertically centered when you install them. I.e., don't let them be all the way pushed up into the rail, or all the way down into the intake.
