Thermostat question
I have a 1985 trans am with a 350 engine carburated ,It has no thermo vac
switches and has electric choke ,Is there any advantage of running this engine without a thermostat ,Will coolant flow better without thermostat in its place to keep engine cooler.

Engine: L98:D,L03:<
Transmission: 700r4x2
Axle/Gears: 3.23 bw, 2.73 10 bolt.

due to the coolant passing thru the radiator too quickly, running no thermostat will actually make the car run hotter. the coolant needs time to sit and tran sfer heat to the radiator.
pick up a 170 degree thermostat, gonna have to ask for it but it's the best choice overall in my experience.
