Are these the right rockers?

I am putting in a new set of dart pro 1's with a weiand stealth intake and speed demon 750 carb with 1" spacer. I also will have a comp cams 234/234 cam. Im not too sure botu the cam specs right now, but I need some 1.6 rockers. Im going to be in a ballpark range of 450hp on motor when im done, and a 150 shot will be on demand.

Will those rockers stand my power that i will be giving the motor?

Anyone reccomend a good set of pushrods for the price too?

those rockers will probably outlast your motor.. those are one of the best rockers for the money.. as for pushrods, these are good for the price.. heat treated, chromemoly, one piece, etc.. just make sure you get the right length.. stock is 7.800" but some heads require a bit longer to maintain valvetrain geometry..

Re: Are these the right rockers?

Make sure about the rocker stud size. Some heads are 7/16 instead of 3/8.

Re: Are these the right rockers?

I have done pretty much anything there is to blow. minute and half burnouts, drag race every week. you name it. It drives well actually. I will be going from front to back to get my car where I want it.

Anyways will the stud size be in the specs of the heads. I am buying them from summit. They are the dart pro 1 platinums. 200cc 64combustion chamber 2.02 intake blah blah blah

Re: Are these the right rockers?

most likely those screw in studs will be 3/8 go to dart im sure the have the complete specs but im curious those are some serious heads and they love roller cams i noticed you said cam only has 234 degrees of duration with the right converter those heads will make some serious horses but id step up on the duration to really get the air to fill those runners and cylinders however it should still be stout ----------------------------------big zeke355cid 92bird

Re: Are these the right rockers?

look at the new comp thumper hydraulic rollers they have a more agressive exhaust profile which a good nitrous cam will have more exhaust lift and they sound bitchin go to comp cams .com and you can hear the thumper and mother thumper -----------------------big zeke 355cid92bird

Re: Are these the right rockers?

Pro Magnums are GREAT rockers - absolutely bulletproof.

I would HIGHLY reccomend getting the longer (1/8" or so) ARP rocker studs though, as the huge bearing in these rockers don't allow for much thread engagement by the poly lock on a stock length stud (you'll see how the set screw in the poly lock goes WAY down into the poly lock when you set it - it should be near flush with the top). I broke one stud because of that. Put the longer ARP studs in there and never a problem since.
