got some ?

i got my car finally runnin and almost done. i like the torqiness of it but i wanna pull a few more horses outta the engine. i hear alot of people sayin LT1 heads work. are they an exact fit or is some work needed. or are there any other recommendations. btw i have a 305 tpi.

LT1 heads do work on an LT1 block...but why swap an LT1 after you just got it running?

o lol i dont mean i want the whole engine swapped. i'm just lookin for a good set of heads. i'm puttin all the stuff i'm gonna do over the next couple years on a list and researching the best combo of each.

i know what you meant... LT1 heads will require extensive machine work to function properly... they will bolt right up... however it would be a disaster to try it due to the fact they are designed for the reverse flow cooling system of the LT1 block
