ive been messing around with my idle.


since then when i start the car it takes a second and engine starts and my idle/tach shoots up to 2000 then drops steadily to around 1000 then warms up and drops down to 800-900

ill still try to bring the idle down more but whats the reason for it shooting up to 2000 it didnt do that before?

and is it bad or normal?

 

i hope its normal because mine does the same thing, excpet sometimes it has a bouncing idle like it'll sit around 750 and then go down to 700 and bounce up to like 900, almost like the engine is trying to kill itself
