im not getting in to specs but i have a 355 bored .30 over of course, balanced crank, upgraded heads, headers, intake, carb, lifters, timing chain, and cam. I just bought new spark plugs and ended up buying accel wires with accel super coil and cap and rotor, now should i have bought msd or does it matter? was kind of an impulse buy. Now I am wondering could i use an ignition box? if so what does it do and what goes best with my accel parts?

My personal experience with MSD, it works, it helps, but it breaks after a few months of use. So buy at your own risk.

 

My MSD stuff is running stong for a year and 4000 miles. No sign of anything wrong. With that said... Run what you got till it breaks, you will be more than happy with what you got.

Looking back at the $ i spent, it was too much.
