should i buy this to convert to serpentine belt system?

is this what i need to convert to the serpentine system beside the alt,psp,ac. 12497869 gmpartsdirect.com is that the same kit tpiparts is sell but 80 bucks more????

$300 plus you still have to get the correct air compressor, alternator and power steering pump. If it were me I would just keep the v-belts, unless you fell you just have to have a serpentine belt.

thanks 4 the help, great thread. im converting, so one day i can put the vortec supercharger on. i dont have ac or smog pump anymore, so that will save me some.

depending on your intentions for the car i would probably get rid of the power steering too, to save a little more and to free up some extra ponies.
