I just got a 1987 factory yellow hard top IROC-Z 305tpi today. When i got it the previous owner said that the fuel pump had gone bad but they replaced it. after they replaced it they drove about 15 miles and it stopped. it started back up and they drove it home but after it had set overnight they could not start it. now when i got it i sprayed starter fluid in the intake and it will stay running, but without the starter fluid it will start for maybe a fraction of a second and then die. i replaced the fuel filter, while i had the fuel filter off i had someone turn the key to the position before starting so i could see if gas came out and it did. That did not fix the problem. does anyone have any ideas of what else it could be?
