Hows the fitment with MSD underheader wires?

I was looking at Summit thinking about getting some new spark plug wires before I crank up the HSR. I had a set of cut-to-fit Taylor wires, but I came across these:

8.5mm, already assembled, and are made to be routed under the headers, which is what Im looking for. Has anyone got a set of these? Im curious how the fitment is with them, if they actually fit fairly decent or if there's alot of slack in the wires. It'd be a PITA to make a new set of wires, but for double what a set of Taylor's cost it might be better that way. It would be nice to get a set out of the box ready to go for under header mounting

i've used those wires before on two cars with header installs. they work good, and there is not extra slack. but just like any header/wire install you have to place them so they dont touch.

I put them under the headers EVERY time

get the universal cut to fit wires and hopefully you do this fitment before you put the motor in because I dont think its worth the hassle if you have to reach around the headers and the firewall while the motor is still in the car

Re: Hows the fitment with MSD underheader wires?

I was actually able to reuse my cut-to-fit wires from my first motor build (I went from large cap to small cap dizzy). The cut to fit wires can be a little time consuming, but it's not that complicated if you route the wires properly THEN cut the wires. The more I think about it sicne the car is rarely driven, Id rather cut my own that way I can be sure that it will fit. But that's just me.

I dont think it's that big of a deal that the motor installed if you get the cut to fits. Granted it's easier if the motor is pulled, but it's not impossible when it's installed.
