i have a 1991 305 camaro with the delco loc 2 anti-theft system in it. and my car wont start, not even click. replaced battery and the starter isnt that old, does anyone have any idea whats happening?? and i tried bypassing the alarm system, that didnt work.

Hmm... need a little more info there. Are you certain that the anti-theft system is causing your problem? If so how did you go about bypassing it?

im not sure how to explain it. when you turn the key over to turn all the electronics on, you have to wait for a beep, then you can crank it, and im getting nothing after that, replaced the battery checked the wires going to the starter which there was 3. but 2 of the wires were together. the starter relay switch i thought was suppose to be beside the battery, instead all the wires are grounded out to were the relay supposed to be. thats how i bought the car.

Do you have any power at all, or is it just a start issue? If no power at all tighten battery terminal bolts tight, and check ground cable. If you do have power to horn, or lights, etc... disconnect the alarm module, but really need more info on the relay your talking bout.

yes i have power to everything. and im not sure which wires go to the alarm. and on the relay...ive looked at other camaros and they actually have wires going into a relay switch. but the wires on my car are just on a bolt grounded out next to the battery

if i cant fix this problem car will be parted out, its been sitting for a month and half. great running engine and working transmission, ac and heat, body not so great,(front bumper, hood and driverside quater panel banged up) if anyone wants anything off it let me know by friday
