How do you Port an Polish? Step by Step

Hello!
Im fairly new to the forums and im new to the firebird lol
I just recently bought my first car (89 Firebird, 2.8L v6mpfi) and im looking to clean up the air flow for abit of extra punch.
Can someone tell me what to do in terms of what to disassemble, what exactly to port and polish and how to port and polish.
Basically just need the Port and Polish 101 lol

Look up a thread by sitting bull. 350 posts or so. It's the port and polish 101.
But I wouldn't really bother on a 2.8L engine. The gains are so small it's not worth your time...

I second that. It's one of those things that you do if you have the heads off already and have some free time on your hands, or, if you take the car to the track and do everything to eek out a little more performance.
