Didnt know

I didnt know that the flywheels on gen 1 small blocks could be different. The center of the crank on my new build which is an earlier sbc is larger so the flywheel from my 87 firebird will not fit on it. Anyone know of a good flywheel thats relatively cheap that will fit? How many tooth should the flywheel be? is it 153? Thanks for the help

Re: Didnt know

I didnt know this board was so strict and you can only ask about how fast your car will go to post something. I find it pretty ridiculous. There are very knowledgable people on here that respond back quickly and have helped me out alot and my posts just get moved to some other board that never get looked at. Maybe after every question ill just ask if my car will run a certain time with this flywheel or if it will shave some time off with a alumunim one or something.

Re: Didnt know

Is the car going fast enough to require a sfi certified fly wheel? now on a side note that would kind of relate the question to the race section, wouldnt it?
