No power at AC compressor

Any ideas where to look? The fuse under the dash is good. But that is only for the blower fan I believe. Let me know of good places to look.

Thanks

Have you tried shorting out the pressure switch? It could be low on refrigerant.

Re: No power at AC compressor

Yes, I just filled it with 134. There was no power at the compressor. I checked it with a volt meter. So I am guessing bad relay/wiring. I was thinking of jumping the high and low pressure switches too. But I am open to any other suggestions.

Re: No power at AC compressor

This might not apply to your model, but on my 86 there is a pressure switch on the power steering hose (high pressure line) that has to operate for power to reach the AC comp. My switch is very close to the steering box in the line. And I know from experience that this switch will prevent AC comp from running if faulty. Just something to check.
