smog p/ac delete. how to??...help...
So i took of the ac/smog etc.. so obviously i only have the alternator pulley, crank pulley and water p. with no tensioner. and obviously i need a way! shorter belt. what do people usually do in this situation. they make something that acts as a tensioner?

people usually put "delete" pulleys in place. This keeps the stock belt positions and angles/routing so that everything has the correct tension and stress on the pulleys left.
There are definitely ways to do without delete pulleys, i'm guessing some of the drag racers would know some optimal setups in that case.

i did a serpentine swap with these pulleys from march...
similar to:

$200, and the install quickly and easily.
you need to know if you have the short or long water pump, and choose which ratio set you want... i got the high waterflow, they also have the perfromance (underdrive), and another one or two.

Hey I would take a look at my page, and see what I've done with mine.
www.cardomain.com/ride/471099 its very simple. Then you just measure the size of the belt you'll need, but you'll want a a/c delete pulley.
