Few problems need to be answered by you professionals!

Alright.. Sorry for all the threads lately.. Nobody replies to the single question threads. So im going to ask a combination of problem questions i'm having. This is pretty much my last hope before i sell the car as a roller.

1. I have a coolant leak going from under the passenger side firewall somewhere.. its dripping onto the exhaust and onto the ground.. It only leaks while its running so i cant see where its coming from.. Anyone have any ideas on wheres its coming from?

2. I have a real high idle right now.. It idles at like 2200.. I don't know whats up.. I took some stuff off to get to the valve covers and put everything back.. normally.. Maybe i messed something up or maybe i have a vacuum leak.. How do i find out of i have a vacuum leak?

3. I still have this annoying smoking exhaust issue. Remember a few months ago i posted a thread saying i had a smoking driver valve cover and once the cover starts to smoke.. The driver side exhuast tip smokes at the same time? Well.. I replaced the gaskets and now both of my covers are smoking.. Yeah i know i suck at replacing gaskets but the passenger one smokes more then the driver side now.. While i noticed the smoking covers.. I now notice the passenger exhaust is smoking more heavily now then the other... Now its kinda wierd.. Imma try and get the smoking covers to stop smoking and see if thats the WHOLE problem.. but itll probably take another 15 tries.. But what is wrong here? its crazy.. lol.

LMK with some anwsers so when i wake up tomorrow.. I can go out and give it 1 last shot.

with the coolant leak , check the hose going to manifold at base of distributer . most auto parts stores have pressure testers you can rent or use to find leaks . good luck .

1) sounds like heater core. Rent the tool to pressurize your rad, and watch for leaks, and listen for the hiss. Remove the thermostat if you have to, in order to pressurize the entire system.

2) you don't have any car info in your sidebar. You need to help us help you. Put some info in there, and we'll see what we can do. carb, cfi injection, holley, etc etc. Use an unlit propane bottle (like for soldering pipes), and run it over problem areas to find the vacuum leak. Also listen for a hiss.

3) you can buy some rubber valve cover gaskets if you like. I seem to have pretty good luck with cork tho (el cheapo ones). RTV to the covers, and nothing between cover and head. Don't over tighten. You're going to have to keep redoing it until you cannot see the valve cover leak. It's a bear, but i've been there done that, replacing those umpteen times until I get it right... Just keep at it, valve cover gaskets are cheap and easy. Could be worse.

Some info on the super high idle..

I took most of the hoses off to get to the carb and intake.. I think i might have misplaced a hose somewhere and its causing this.. But i just dont know what..

ALSO... when i check my oil.. Its got like a million bubbles in it.. Is that a sign of a vacuum leak somewhere?
