305 TPI 1988,after beeing absolutely runned out of gas,and runned on the starter until battery also totally emptied,the dammned thing wont start.
we filled fresh gas on,put in a brand new optima batt,ign on,gaspump upps the pressure and stop,engine cranked easily on the starter koff a few times,
but not,tried with startingether,and it fiering up stright away,and then dies.
where do i start ??
i didnt do this,the shippers who transported the car from where i bought it did.

 

The quickest way is to find the peice on the fuel rail that looks like a tire valve. Use a screwdriver to keep it open while some turns on and off the key a couple times till you get fuel out. Then the system should be primed.

It is not a good idea to smoke while doing this!!!!

Some safety glasses would be a good idea too. When the 42 psi hits you in the face it ain't fun.
I, of course, would not be talking (p-tuey, p-tuey) from experience.
