airbag light on, need it off
okay so i only care because i have to pass an out of province inspection umm asap and they are insanely strict, so when i turn the key to the on position all the cluster lights have to come on, and go off when the car starts.
My airbag light is on, i cant just remove it because they definitly check for it to come on. a GM mechanic re-built my column for me to try and take some of the slop out of the tilt (a friend but im learning recently his work is more then suspect).
Is there any way i can check one of the connections before the column to find out if its something in the cars wiring...or is there a way i can check if its possibly to do with the clock spring being setup wrong?
In the past the air bag light did come on probably twice in the last 5 years, but then went out within a day or so. What should i be checking first?!?!
