Need help with heater

Had a electrical surge, no more heater. whats up?
It doesn't blow out any heat, like the fan died? i went through my fuse box and replaced any bad fuses, still nothing. i can tear a heater core and everything i need out of a couple of other 3rd gen camaros, how is the best way to do that? do i even need to do that?

An electrical surge wouldn't kill the heater core. I'd check the switch and motor. Either may have been fried.

Purchase a cheap test light and test each for power.
