1982 stock carburated V-6 2.8 manual Sports Coupe. Starts fine and once fully warmed runs and idles fine but can't keep running during warn-up without keeping on the gas. I've advanced the choke considerably with little help. After the choke comes off after a minute or two and until hot it won't stay running ... takes 5-10 minutes. Repalced temp sensor. Not sure where go next. Anyone have any ideas. I'm the original owner and have the full vehicle history but never been stumped like this before.

 

For some reason you're not getting the cold-start enrichment. It wants more fuel until it gets warmed up, and it's not getting the extra fuel. As you've played with the choke, it's time to check other things. What, I'm not sure as I'm not familiar with the '82 2.8
