Don't know if this has been addressed before but, I have access to several Vortec 4.3 V6 cylinder heads and wonder if the shaft mounted roller rockers can be retrofitted to a 350 Vortec. The headstud locations appear to be standard SBC when the rocker assemblies are removed. I see that the aluminum bar connecting the 6 rockers together would need to be cut for this to work, making each cylinder have it's own independant pair (or perhaps 2 pairs of 4). The connecting bar seems more like a production line conveinence rather than a structural piece.Thoughts? Thanks.
