Hello,
My gas tank is rusted/corroded inside. I have found of this product in Eastwood's Catalog that will put a protective coating over the inside of the tank after I clean it with Muratic acid/acetone. I was wondering if there was an alternative was to go about this. I find $50 for a bottle of sealer pretty steep, and from what ive real Muratic acid can be dangerous.

Also, while it have it all broken down is there a way I can rig up some kind of baffling system in it? Has anyone ever done this, or tried to do it?

Thanks,
Han

You're better off getting a new tank.

If cost is an issue look at wrecking yards. Should be able to find a used rust free one for cheap.
