And then you can tell people you have MSD.
It is supposed to more completely burn the fuel, by creating multiple sparks.
Greater efficiency, more power.

Oh, right... guess I just assumed an MSD system.
Yeah, there isn't really even any theoretical benefit to just getting the MSD distributor. The brand name is confusing... to me.
I've never used MSD on a vehicle of mine, so, I'm wondering, do you need an MSD distributor, or a distributor made for use with MSD, to use an MSD system?
