AFR cylinder heads?

Just wondering if anyone is running the AFR Street 180's on their small blocks?? Im looking at getting a set for my daily driver and I know that they are pretty much the best out there out of the box? But Im just looking for some feedback before I shell out $1500 for a set of heads. Any one got any experiance?? Also a quick question? How much longer push rods would I need?? I know that I should measure before hand, but I will be installing Comp alum-roller rockers at the same time with a 1.6ratio. Just want to get all my ducks in one basket first. THansk for any helps!! Its a basic 350 with Comp-xe256-cam,it should be about 9.5.1 with the new heads and gasket-Rpm-airgap intake, msd ignition and full exhaust etc. THanks

Don't think you'll find anyone here with negative comments about AFR heads.

It's really impossible to say how long of pushrods you'll need, as each engine can be different. The only way to tell is to dummy it up and use a pushrod length checker.

I would think that with AFR heads, you could cam it up just a little bit. Should be a healthy motor, they're great heads.

Re: AFR cylinder heads?

Thanks for the reply!! I figured that with the pushrods. I plan on doing the heads and getting it retuned to run good with the head and compresion change and then come tax season re-doing the bottom end for a little more compression and cubes!
