Help please!!!

So I was wonderin If some one could help me? The problem is that my car takes to long to shift from 1st 2nd & 3rd(it's an automatic 91 rs). It redlines or almost redlines when I drive it. Can anyone help me out?

It sounds like the transmission tv cable is out of adjustment. It's the cable that hooks to the throttle body and it controls just that,shift points. There is a spot you can push it to adjust it and it will need to be a little shorter. Only adjust it a little at a time and make sure you get it close before driving the car alot. Maybe someone here can provide a pic.

Thanks! I think I know what you're talkin bout, there's a cable that looks like it's a little loose & it might be what you're talkin bout.
